KWZ Ink – Zieleń Myśliwska (Hunter Green)

Gdy piszemy tym atramentem widać ciemną zieleń, jednak już chwilę po wyschnięciu kolor ciemnieje, idzie ku szarości, niektórzy mówią że ciemnego brązu. Im więcej czasu minie tym barwa ciemniejsza, w szybkim spojrzeniu na stare notatki można nawet o tej zieleni zapomnieć. Dopiero po przyjrzeniu się widać stary zielony szyk pisanych liter. Każdy zielony atrament ma mankament że po kilku dniach przysycha w piórze i tu również to występuje, jednak przepłukanie stalówki zazwyczaj pomaga, szybko wystartować.  Właściwie atrament jest kontrastowy, więc powinien nieźle nadawać się do sporządzania notatek, być może z podróży na łono natury. Osobiście nie przypadł mi ten kolor, tak do gustu by rzucić wszystko i zakupić flakon, jednak zdecydowanie doceniam jego nie oczywiste odcienie, wygląd zależy od stalówki, papieru, światła a i czas sporządzenia naszych notatek ma znaczenie.

When writing with this ink, you can see a dark green hue, but moments after drying, the color darkens, trending towards grayness; some say it leans towards dark brown. The longer time passes, the darker the hue becomes; at a quick glance at old notes, one might even forget about the green. Only upon closer inspection can one discern the aged green elegance of written letters. Like any green ink, it has the drawback of drying in the pen after a few days, and this issue also arises here; however, flushing the nib usually helps to start quickly. In essence, the ink is contrastive, so it should work well for note-taking, perhaps from a trip into the lap of nature. Personally, this color hasn’t won me over enough to drop everything and purchase a bottle, but I definitely appreciate its subtle shades; its appearance depends on the nib, paper, lighting, and even the timing of our note-taking.

Krishna – Dense Black

Dense Black, głęboka czerń, atrament czarny, słuchy, bez znaczenia i głębi. Strzępi (na gorszym papierze), nudzi i nie zaskakuje. Nie bez powodu jest to atrament z serii klasycznej, która w domyśle ma zawierać takie standardowe kolory bez odchyleń. Takie też funkcje spełnia. Na papierze typu rhodia kolor jest nieco jaśniejszy, szczególnie w cieńszych stalówkach. Przypuszczam że atrament lepiej mógłby się sprawować w stalówkach B i BB (Ja testowałem na M). Butelka 20ml, zatkana korkiem z plastiku, który powodować może rozprysk przy wyjmowaniu dekla. Właściwości średnie, po kilku dniach atrament wydaje się słuchy.

Dense Black, a deep black ink, lives up to its name. It’s a black ink that lacks rumors, significance, and depth. It feathers, especially on lower-quality paper, and fails to captivate or surprise. Not without reason, it belongs to the classic series, which is intended to encompass standard colors without deviations. It fulfills this role precisely. On Rhodia-type paper, the color appears slightly brighter, particularly with finer nibs. I suspect the ink might perform better with broader nibs like B and BB (I tested it with M). The 20ml bottle is sealed with a plastic cork, which may cause splattering when removing the cap. The properties are average, and after a few days, the ink seems to feather.

Rohrer and Klingner – Royal Blue

Royal Blue, Królewska Błękit od niemieckiej firmy R&K to atrament świetnie sprawdzający się jako atrament do zastosowań codziennych. Właściwości na dość dobrym poziomie, wysychanie ekspresowe, odcień odpowiedni, przepływ jest dobry, nie strzępi, nie przebija. Można pisać na dowolnym papierze, bez przykrych niespodzianek. Standardowy atrament w świetnym wydaniu.

Royal Blue, the Royal Blue ink from the German company R&K, is an ink that excels as a daily-use writing instrument. Its properties are at a quite satisfactory level—quick drying, an appropriate shade, good flow, no feathering, and no bleeding through the paper. It performs well on any type of paper without unpleasant surprises. It’s a standard ink presented in an excellent manner.

KWZ Ink – Złota Kaczka

KWZ Złota Kaczka to kolaboracja z sklepem Pióroteka, dzięki której powstał złoty płyn.
Z punktu widzenia składu, mamy do czynienia z żółtym atramentem wraz z złotym pyłem, co w rezultacie daje efekt pozłoconego tekstu. Muszę przyznać że do właściwości miałem obawy o przepływ i czytelność. Chociaż spływak oczywiście pokrywa się złotym pyłem, sam proces pisania jest bardzo przyjemny, a efekt tekstu jest zdecydowanie prestiżowy – „na bogato”.

Kolor jest odważny i może być trudny do zastosowania na co dzień, ale z pewnością nadaje się doskonale do wyjątkowych okazji. Polecam.

KWZ Golden Duck is a collaboration with the Pióroteka store, resulting in the creation of a golden liquid. From a compositional standpoint, we are dealing with a yellow ink infused with golden dust, resulting in a text with a gilded effect. I must admit that I had concerns about the flow and legibility. While the nib, of course, gets coated in golden dust, the act of writing itself is very enjoyable, and the textual outcome is decidedly prestigious – a touch of luxury.

The color is bold and might be challenging for everyday use, but it certainly fits perfectly for special occasions. I highly recommend it.

Graf von Faber-Castell Garnet Red

Świetnie mi się piszę tym atramentem, nieco słabo wygląda wodoodporność. Garnet oznacza coś przyozdobionego, w tym wypadku nie jest to typowa czerwień i w oryginale nie jest to borodo, to coś pomiędzy. Polecam dla samego sprawdzenia tej że barwy. Nie strzępi, mogą występować punktowe przebicia na słabszym papierze.

I’m enjoying writing with this ink, although its waterproofing is somewhat weak. Garnet means something decorated, and in this case, it’s not a typical red, nor is it burgundy, it’s something in between. I recommend it just to test out this color. It doesn’t feather and there may be some occasional bleed-through on weaker paper.

JinHao – Green Bamboo

Witam w dzisiejszym wpisie na tapet idzie atrament JinHao – Green Bamboo, atrament prosto z Aliexpres w nabojach przeznaczonych do piór JinHao, o ile się nie mylę istnieje też wersja butelkowa. Ogólnie zielone atramenty są problematyczne mniej lub bardziej. Ten jest problematyczny bardziej, pomijając takie rzeczy jak przebijanie, wypukiwanie tekstu (wodoodporność jest ale zostaje tylko coś a’la cień napisu) największą wadą jest suchość i dziwne zachowane. Raz mi leci atramentu zbyt dużo, innym razem coś przysycha, pióro przerwa. Źle się tym pisze i odechciewa się w ogóle pisać cokolwiek. Seria tych atramentów jest bardzo nie równa. Zielony to czarna owca, nie polecam!

Welcome to today’s review, where we’ll be talking about JinHao – Green Bamboo ink, an ink straight from Aliexpress in cartridges designed for JinHao pens. If I’m not mistaken, there’s also a bottled version available. Generally, green inks can be more or less problematic. This one is more problematic, ignoring things like bleeding or feathering (it is waterproof, but only the shadow of the writing remains), the biggest flaw is the dryness and strange behavior. Sometimes too much ink comes out, other times it dries up, and the pen skips. Writing with it is difficult and discouraging. The consistency of the ink series is very uneven. Green is the black sheep, I don’t recommend it!

Graf von Faber-Castell Stone Grey

Zawsze mam podejrzenia że sygnowany napisem grey atrament to w istocie czarny nieco rozwodniony to powoduje że nie specjalnie przepadam za typowymi szarymi, są mniej kontrastowe zatem mniej czytelne, są rozwodnione czyli w istocie płacimy więcej, oraz są niejakie. W przypadku Stone Grey kolor jest w miarę czytelny, właściwości całkiem niezłe i muszę przyznać że jest nawet przyjemny dla oka. Jednak oświecenia nie doznałem. Atrament jest wodoodporny mimo że delikatnie się rozpływa wierzchnia warstwa, tekst jest do odczytania, raczej nie strzępi i nie przebija. Podsumowując dobry szary atrament, ale raczej typowy, nie ma sensu przepłacać.

I always have suspicions that an ink labeled as „grey” is actually just slightly diluted black, which makes me not particularly fond of typical greys as they are less contrasting and less legible, diluted, and somewhat bland. In the case of Stone Grey, the color is fairly legible, the properties are quite good, and I have to admit it is even pleasing to the eye. However, I did not experience any enlightenment. The ink is waterproof, although it slightly dissolves the surface layer, the text is readable, it does not feather or bleed through. In summary, a good grey ink, but rather typical, there is no point in overpaying.

Kiedy ostatnio widzieliście Doge Vipera? No właśnie, albo dosyć dawno albo co najwyżej na zdjęciach, a kiedy widzieliście zielonego Vipera? To kultowy kolor, gdzieś synapsy przetwarzają że to coś znajomego, w istocie viper oznacza żmije, zatem nie koniecznie musi to być nawiązanie do auta, a może bardziej do zwierzaka, o ile tak pieszczotliwie nazwać można zawierzę w postaci najprawdziwszego węża. Nie mniej zielony Doge Viper jest piękny i fajnie byłoby mieć taki w swojej kolekcji super samochodów w garażu.

GvFC to ponownie niemiecki atrament marki, stylizowany na produkt premium. Kolorystycznie prezentuje się nie najgorzej, jasna zieleń. Zielone atramenty mają zazwyczaj z jakiegoś powodu stosunkowo słabe właściwości, w tym wypadku jest nie najgorzej.
Atrament nie jest wodoodporny, ale też nie przebija tekstu na drugą stronę, nie strzępi i piszę się nim w miarę znośnie, czas schnięcia jest typowym średniakiem, a cieniowanie jest delikatne.

Podsumowując, jak na zieleń to nawet daje radę i można rozważyć jego zakup, jeśli lubimy tego typu kolorystykę.

When was the last time you saw a Dodge Viper? Either a long time ago or at most in pictures, and when did you see a green Viper? It’s an iconic color, and somehow our synapses process it as something familiar. In fact, „viper” means snake, so it doesn’t necessarily have to be a reference to a car, but maybe more to a pet, if we can call a real snake that. Nevertheless, a green Dodge Viper is beautiful and it would be great to have one in our collection of super cars in the garage.

GvFC is again a German ink brand, stylized as a premium product. In terms of color, it looks pretty good, light green. Green inks usually have relatively weak properties for some reason, but in this case, it’s not bad. The ink is not waterproof, but it also doesn’t bleed through to the other side of the paper, doesn’t feather, and writes relatively smoothly. The drying time is typical, and the shading is delicate.

In summary, as for green ink, it’s pretty decent and worth considering if you like this type of color.

Graf von Faber-Castell India Red

India Red to niemiecki atrament marki Graf von Faber-Castell, stylizowany na produkt premium. Kolorystycznie prezentuje się dobrze, nawiązując do czerwieni Dalekiego Wschodu, gdzie nie boi się się intensywnych barw. Niestety, jego właściwości nie spełniają oczekiwań stawianych produktom premium. Największym zarzutem jest zbyt duża gęstość oraz słaby przepływ atramentu, co powoduje, że inkaset wydaje się niekiedy słuchy. Wysychanie na standardowym poziomie, a cieniowanie pojawia się jedynie na odpowiednim papierze. Atrament jest wodoodporny, jednakże kolor nieco się rozmazuje. Mimo to, tekst jest nadal czytelny.

Podsumowując, India Red stanowi alternatywę dla znacznie tańszych atramentów Diamine oraz Rohrer & Klingner, jednakże poza ładną butelką, nie wyróżnia się niczym szczególnym. Przepływ i lepkość tego atramentu zdecydowanie nie są premium. Kolor jest ładny i intensywny, ale również nie ma jakiś wyjątkowych cech, które wyróżniłyby go spośród konkurencji.

India Red is a German ink by Graf von Faber-Castell, designed as a premium product. In terms of color, it looks good, reminiscent of the red of the Far East, where intense colors are not afraid. Unfortunately, its properties do not meet the expectations placed on premium products. The biggest drawback is its high density and poor ink flow, which can make the ink seem dry at times. Drying time is standard, and shading only appears on the right paper. The ink is waterproof, but the color does smudge slightly. Nevertheless, the text remains legible.

In summary, India Red is an alternative to much cheaper inks from Diamine or Rohrer & Klingner, but besides the pretty bottle, it doesn’t stand out in any particular way. The flow and viscosity of this ink are definitely not premium. The color is nice and intense, but it also lacks any exceptional features that would distinguish it from the competition.

Monteverde – Ocean Noir

Ocean, Ocean Noir. Na butelce w takiej że kolejność, z tym że Noir to nazwa serii, a Ocean to nazwa koloru z tej serii.
Kolor to nawiązanie do ciemniejszej odmiany wody oceanu, jest żywy intensywny i dokładnie taki jakiego prawdopodobnie potrzebujemy, niby granat ale z podkreślonym odcieniem. Właściwości, niezłe, schnie szybko, cieniuje, wodoodporność średnia. Ogólnie śmiało mogę polecić, udany atrament!

Ocean, Ocean Noir. The order of the names on the bottle is as such, with Noir being the name of the series and Ocean being the name of the color within that series. The color is a reference to the darker shades of the ocean, vibrant, intense, and exactly what we might need – it’s a navy blue with a pronounced hue. The properties are quite good, it dries quickly, shades well, and has a moderate level of water resistance. Overall, I can highly recommend it, a successful ink!
